MarbsLifestyle.com's Review: Our favorite thai!
Hidden amidst the vibrant hustle and bustle of Puerto Banus, NAGA transports diners straight into the heart of Thailand. As members of the MarbsLifestyle.com team, we are no strangers to global cuisines, but NAGA's enchanting ambience, characterized by lush greenery and authentic decor, offers a distinctive Thai retreat right here in Marbella. It's an oasis, not just on sunny days but serves as a comforting shelter during those occasional rainy ones.
The staff, warm and welcoming, have a genuine desire to ensure your dining experience is memorable. Our evening began with the Grilled Prawn Satay - the delicate blend of flavors from the special peanut sauce and pickled cucumber left us craving more. The Tom Yam Gai, a symphony of spicy and tangy notes, was the ideal palate cleanser before we indulged in the crispy Pho Phia Thod. Each bite, be it the tender Nuea Namman Hoi or the flavorful Phad Thai, carried the authenticity and essence of traditional Thai cooking.
Yet, it was the Geang Kiew Whan Gai, with its harmonious infusion of eggplant, lime leaves, and basil, that was the standout. Rounding off our meal with the sweet crunch of Glouy Thod, deep-fried banana drizzled with honey and paired with ice cream, was the perfect finish.
Our frequent visits, every couple of weeks, are a testament to NAGA's consistency in delivering exceptional food and service. The meticulously curated wine list and the even more impressive cocktails only elevate the dining experience.
In short, for those in search of authentic Thai flavors paired with a serene ambiance, NAGA is a must-visit in Puerto Banus. It remains a regular feature on our dining calendar, and we foresee many more delightful evenings here.
