The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina features two 18-hole golf courses, the North and the South.
The South course was designed by Javier Arana and opened in 1959. Guadalmina Sur is renowned for its challenging and demanding nature, making it an ideal course for experienced golfers. The fairways of Guadalmina Sur are narrow and well-protected by large trees, which not only provide welcome shade during the summer months, but also require players to shape their shots carefully. Additionally, the fast and undulating greens present a further challenge to golfers.
The North course, designed by Folco Nardi, opened in 1973. Compared to the south course, the north course is shorter and characterized by more hilly terrain and numerous water obstacles. To succeed on the course, golfers must execute straight drives down the center of the fairways. Any deviation from the ideal shot may result in landing in one of the many water hazards that are artfully hidden in the rough.
