The golf club is located at Ctra. de Ronda, km 37, 29679 Benahavís, Málaga, Spain. The course is ideally situated close to the beautiful mountain village of Benahavis, renowned as the restaurant capital of the Costa Del Sol, and to Marbella, the center of international tourism in Spain.

Severiano Ballesteros, a Spanish professional golfer who was one of the sport's leading figures from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s.

Difficulty of the course

The course is considered to be challenging, but also fair, making it a great option for the average golfer and a gruelling test for professionals. Golfers will face numerous water features and navigate through tight, narrow fairways, making accuracy a key factor in scoring well.

If players prioritize accuracy over distance, they will find ample birdie opportunities. The 13th hole, a magnificent par 5, and the challenging par 4 12th hole are considered signature holes. Both holes require elevated tee shots, and hazards on the left and right add an extra layer of difficulty. The tee shot on the 13th hole requires both distance and accuracy, while the tee shot on the 12th hole requires accuracy above all.
