Dune is one of those places where we love to take our time and really enjoy the day by the Mediterranean. Set between the dunes in Elviria, it has that soft sand, beachside feeling that makes lunch or dinner feel calm, private and a little removed from the busier Marbella scene. The setting is a big part of its charm: sea views, natural surroundings and an atmosphere that feels elegant without trying too hard.

The food is a real highlight, and we especially like that the menu changes often enough to keep each visit interesting. Our favourite way to enjoy Dune is to order several dishes for the table and share, mixing fresh starters, seafood, something from the grill and good sides. From the menu, dishes such as the Bread Spread with labneh, burrata, ceviche, tempura prawns, the Dune Burger and the Truffle Burger all fit the relaxed, generous style of the place.

For us, Dune works beautifully for lunch with friends, but also for a full beach day when you do not want to rush anywhere. It is the kind of place where you arrive for lunch and easily stay longer than planned, simply because the combination of food, setting and privacy feels so easy. Good food, a beautiful location and time together by the sea are exactly why we keep coming back to Dune.
