All about Tragabuches Dani García

Welcome to Tragabuches Marbella, a restaurant by Dani García created around Andalusian flavour, local product and Spanish culinary tradition. The current concept presents Tragabuches as a kilometre-zero restaurant where product and proximity are central, giving the menu a strong connection to the surrounding region. It is also described by the official restaurant as a steakhouse like you have never seen before, combining a respect for tradition with a more contemporary Dani García style.

The experience is built around bold flavours, carefully sourced ingredients and a dining room that feels elegant without losing warmth. Guests can visit for lunch, dinner or the snack menu between services, making it a versatile restaurant for different moments of the day. The menu reflects Dani García’s approach to Spanish gastronomy, where familiar recipes and Andalusian identity are presented with polish and creativity. Tragabuches is a strong choice for guests who want a restaurant in Marbella with a clear sense of place, where meat, local produce, traditional flavours and modern presentation are all part of the experience.

Family Lunches, Artful Cocktails and Dani García Signatures

For us at MarbsLifestyle.com, Tragabuches Dani García is one of those Marbella restaurants that works beautifully for families, friends and long Spanish-style lunches.

Tragabuches Dani García brings together Andalusian flavour, local product and the polished Dani García touch in a way that feels both elevated and easy to enjoy. Our favourite way to experience it is at lunch, especially with family or a small group of friends, ordering dishes to share and letting the table fill naturally. Sundays have a particularly local feel and can be fully packed with Spanish guests, which gives the restaurant a lively, authentic energy that we really like.

The bar is a real highlight for us. Sitting there with friends and watching the handcrafted cocktails being made turns the beginning of the meal into part of the experience; the cocktail work feels almost like an art form. The menu changes regularly, so it is always worth asking what Dani García signature dishes are available, as well as taking time with the wine list and trying one of the house cocktails.

For families, Tragabuches is especially strong because children have space to play while parents can enjoy a proper lunch in a relaxed setting. It is also a perfect sharing restaurant, with Spanish tradition, local ingredients and modern presentation all coming through. Do not miss the famous Dani García omelette, especially one of the versions served with caviar; it is one of those dishes we would tell anyone to try at least once.
