La Cañada, the largest shopping mall on the Costa del Sol, is the perfect spot for a rainy day. With free underground parking, your shopping trip is hassle-free from the start. Boasting over 200 stores, including high-end brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Mango, and Zara, it’s a shopper’s paradise. You’ll also find Alcampo supermarket, which makes shopping with kids easy thanks to its wide range of children’s products. For extra entertainment, you can catch a movie at Kinépolis Marbella La Cañada or enjoy bowling at Pause&Play.
If you fancy heading elsewhere, El Corte Inglés in Puerto Banús is another great option. As Spain’s largest department store, it spans six floors and has everything under one roof – from designer perfumes and clothes to cosmetics, books, electronics, and furniture. Here’s a tip for non-Spanish shoppers: register your passport on the ground floor, and you can enjoy tax-free shopping, which means you get even more value for your money. Both La Cañada and El Corte Inglés offer plenty of dining options, so you can take a break and enjoy a tasty meal or drink before continuing your shopping spree. Our favorite spot is La Barra de Gourmet, where you can sometimes enjoy live music. It’s also the perfect place to pick up gourmet delights for a charcuterie board at home, offering everything from fine cheeses and cured hams to caviar and champagne.
Across from El Corte Inglés, you’ll find Marina Banús Shopping Centre—a more compact version of La Cañada, but still packed with well-known brands. It’s a great spot to continue your shopping spree with plenty of places to relax and enjoy some treats along the way. Close by, you can also pop into Red Dog Cinemas to catch a movie and make the most of a rainy afternoon, keeping the day fun and stress-free no matter the weather.
Last but not least, Forum on Marbella’s Golden Mile is the newest addition to the city’s luxury shopping scene.
