Under the mentorship of revered Japanese sushi masters Masayoshi Kazato and Hirotoshi Ogawa, Carlos Navarro's expertise has reached an unparalleled level. He's a globe-trotter, teaching his craft around the world, and has instructed over 3,000 professionals while giving more than 100 lectures. In 2016, he even became a finalist at the World Sushi Championship held in Tokyo, garnering special mention from the jury for his technique known as KABANOKI—a fusion of his Swedish origins with the essence of Japan.
