About Malaga airport, the airport for Marbella
Malaga Airport, also known as Aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol, is the primary airport serving the Costa del Sol in Spain. Located about eight kilometers southwest of Málaga and five kilometers north of Torremolinos, it's the largest of the four international airports in Andalusia. The airport offers flights to over 60 countries. In 2007, it catered to 13,590,803 passengers, and this figure slightly decreased to 12,922,403 in 2013. The airport is managed by the Spanish state-owned enterprise, AENA.
The airport features two runways.
Additionally, there are three passenger terminals at the facility. The third terminal was inaugurated in 2009, and a second runway was added in 2012.
